Sunday Service at Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Weaverville, NC
Mike spoke at Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Sunday School and at the morning Worship Service on August 26. We had just completed the Answers Conference at Mars Hill College on Friday and Saturday evenings so we were excited to get to minister at Locust Grove on Sunday morning. There are several key organizers from the conference who are members. We are always blessed to have the opportunity to share the truth of our Creator God with congregations who unashamedly stand firm on God’s Word.
Mike teaching about Dinosaurs at Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Weaverville, NC
The fellowship hall was overflowing for the Sunday School hour when Mike spoke on “Thinking Biblically about Dinosaurs”. Adults and children both learn alot during this lecture. Evolutionists use dinosaurs as evangelisim tools for their faith. We want all to understand that God created Dinosaurs on day 6 right along with Adam and Eve. When we think biblically, there are answers to the evolutionists’ claims.
People in the park in Willisville, IL
On Saturday, September 8th, Mike and I drove 6 hours to Willisville in southern IL. We met with Cletus Zimmerman to check out the town park where Mike would speak on Sunday morning. Cletus is the pastor of Central Baptist Church in Willisville. He has been working with other pastors in the area for some time to plan this service in the park. We were very happy that around 85 people came on Sunday morning to hear some local musicians and then Mike’s sermon, “Armies and Nurseries”. After the service there was a potluck dinner followed by games. Thank you to all of the people who planned and worked to put this outreach together.
