We flew to Jacksonville, FL on Sept. 13th along with Jay and Becky Lucas so Mike and Jay could teach our second Advanced Creation Apologetics Class at Hibernia Baptist Church. It started on Friday evening Sept. 14 and ended on Sat. afternoon at 5:30. We had 21 students and they all stayed through the entire class! We had comments like: “My brain is full, it was a great class.” or “This is just what I needed. I can’t wait to use what I have learned when I talk to my uncle next time.” We pray that each student will have many opportunities to use the information from the class. We want to thank Hibernia Baptist for all of the help with feeding the class and for the use of their facilities. Keep watching our web site for the next scheduled class.

On Sunday morning, Sept. 16th Mike spoke at Gardenview Baptist Church for the Sunday School hour and for the morning service. There were two more lectures on Sunday evening and two on Monday evening. We were excited to be in a church where there are so many people who were working side by side to serve each other and the people who come to their church. They serve a full breakfast every Sunday morning. There are people assigned to greet everyone and people who are in charge of security. We saw joy in serving at every level.

We were delighted to have a high school friend from way back when in Lompoc, CA and his wife come to all of the presentations. They drove with a friend from Merritt Island, FL. What a blessing for Mike to look out to see dear friends from such a long time ago.

We were blessed to have the Alan Dipietro family (Mom Elicia and little brother Timothy stayed home) come to many of the lectures. They have been so faithful to come to anything in the Jacksonville area and they come with free materials to hand to people and with willing hands to help with anything we need. The sons love to share about their faith. From the oldest to youngest pictured are: Aaron, Nathan, Joshua, Jonathan, and Stephen. They did push – ups for Mike at the end of the conference!
