Mike at Hibernia Baptist Church
Mike and I had a great time at Hibernia Baptist Church in Fleming Island, FL this last weekend. Mike spoke to over 1000 people at 3 services on Sunday morning. His talk was “Genesis and Biblical Discernment”. We had so many encouraging comments about how they thought this was an important subject. We think that reflects highly on the pastor, Scott Yirka. We had several great volunteers from the local creation group, Rich and Ginger Overman and Larry and Darlene Klosterman. We were delighted to have over 500 return for the evening service when Mike gave his Apologetics 101 talk. Afterwards, we spent a enjoyable time at dinnerwith Pastor Scott and his wife, Leslie and their 3 children along with Candie West, Scott’s assistant. On Monday night, Mike had an extended Question and Answer time that was also very well attended. We praise God for this large church that stands firmly for the Truth.

On Monday I got to see one of my best friends from high school who lives close to Hibernia in Orange Park, FL. We went to lunch and then spent a long time talking about our grandchildren and the Lord. How wonderful to see someone who holds a very dear place in my heart. God bless you Linda.
