Mike with Drew and Theresa Sparks
I am late on this blog – technical issues! But I do want to write about our trip to Christ Community Church in West Covina, CA. We had been looking forward to this event for a very long time. Drew Sparks and his sweet wife, Theresa, minister to the youth there and care very deeply about what and how they are taught. Drew asked Mike to talk to the Sunday School Teachers about how to make Christian Education life-changing. We spent Saturday, August 20th with almost all of the teachers from the church. Thanks to all of them for giving their time to teaching and for spending time with us. Mike is very impressed with Drew and his commitment to apologetics and to teaching others how to share their faith.

Mike then spoke to the congregation on Sunday morning, Aug. 21st. He gave his “Genesis and End Times” at the two morning services. We saw many people that we remembered from when we were there in May of 2010. Thank you Drew for having us come again.
