Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016 — Sessions on the third day included: Why the Bible is True; The Genesis Flood and the Bible; and The Genesis Flood and the fossil record.

During the afternoon, the students had free time. A few brave souls took a hike up to a beautiful lookout in the mountain that is a part of the beautiful Ridgecrest Conference Center.

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2016 — Sessions on the second day of class included: Days of Creation, sin and death; Handling Objections to a literal six-day creation; Basic apologetics; Introduction to Presuppositional Apologetics; and Communication and teaching skills.

Day 1
Day 1Monday, August 1st, 2016 — The first day of the Creation Apologetics Teachers College. Students arrived to the Ridgecrest Conference Center in North Carolina from all over the country.
The first night started with a class dedication, and an explanation on the importance and need to defend Creation and Apologetics.

Responding to Foolish Statements -Part 2
In part 2 of “Responding to Foolish Statements,” Mike answers the following challenges:
- Why are Christians against a woman’s right to choose (abortion)?
- Why are Christians so intolerant of other viewpoints?
- We shouldn’t teach creation because it is too divisive. God could have used evolution.
- Life must be on other planets. It’s arrogant to believe we are the only life in the Universe.
- The Bible is not real history. It is just a book of fiction and fairy tales.

Responding to Foolish Statements
Christians are often challenged with foolish statements. There are three elements that make these statements foolish.
1. The challenge shows the person’s lack of knowledge of the Bible.
2. The challenge has inconsistent elements.
3. The challenge is arrogant.
In this session Mike not only answers the challenges but also shows why each is a foolish statement. In part one of “Foolish Challenges” Mike responds to the following:
• The Bible does not say how God created.
• There are no absolutes.
• Evolution is a fact.
• No one has the whole truth.
• That’s true for you, but not for me.

The Gap Theory
The Gap Theory has been used to explain how to add millions of years into the Bible. The Gap Theory places a large gap of time (millions of years) between the first two verses of the Bible. During this gap the original creation was destroyed by Satan and this catastrophe was responsible for most of the fossils we see today. In this video Mike examines the biblical and scientific evidences used to support the Gap Theory. Mike concludes with the warning that too many Christians are willing to change the clear reading of Scripture based on mere interpretation of scientific evidence rather than trusting the Bible as our Authority.

Mike interviews professional musician Scott Weckerly. Scott talks about the church he attended as a youth and how he began to have questions about the Bible and was not getting answers from within the church. As a result he began to have doubts about the Bible. It wasn’t until someone from another church showed him the Bible does have answers that he became confident and bold in his witness. Scott relates that when he was finally taught about presuppositional apologetics and how to ask good questions that he felt fully equipped to share the Gospel.

Who Should Christians Blame?
In this session, Mike discusses four philosophies that are attacking the church and Christian families. (1) evolutionism, (2) moral relativism, (3) abortion, and (4) same-sex marriage. Hundreds of millions of dollars are being spent to promote these philosophies. Is Evolution Both a Fact and a Theory?
This video takes a logical and scientific approach to answer the question. The first step is to establish the proper definitions of both a scientific fact and a scientific theory. The second step is to compare what has been observed to these definitions.
