Mike Teaching at Faith Community Church, Camden, DE
Mike and I flew to Baltimore on Saturday, Oct. 8th and drove to Faith Community Church in Camden, DE. We got the book tables set up and went to dinner with Pastor Ron David and his wife and two other couples who helped us set up the books. We then went to the home that the church owns for visiting speakers and missionaries. We had stayed in the same home four years ago when Mike spoke at Faith Community – in fact we were the first ones to have the privilege of staying there. It is very comfortable and is stocked with everything we could ever need. Thanks to the faithful group of people who clean and stock the home.
Bulletin Board about our Conference at Faith Community Church
Here is a picture of the clever bulletin board that was used to advertise the seminar. Sunday morning Mike spoke at both the Sunday School hour and at the Worship Service. The church was almost full at both services. He then spoke at the 6pm service to another very nice sized crowd. I think the bulletin board did the job! On Tuesday, Mike spoke at Calvary Christian School in Dover, DE. Then the last talk was Tuesday evening.

We certainly enjoyed our visit to Camden, DE. We had great fellowship and food. We especially enjoyed meeting Ken and Nadine Sparks. They are the grandparents of one of our very favorite youth pastors out in West Covina, CA, Drew Sparks. I wrote a blog about Drew and his wife, Theresa, on Sept. 3rd. What a joy to spend time with his grandparents. Thanks also to Pastor Ron David and all the people who worked to make this event happen.
