Mike and I met James Reed, the youth pastor at Calvary Chapel, Casa Grande. James retired from the Air Force a couple of years ago because he felt God was drawing him into the ministry. He thought that he would be a music pastor but God had a different plan. He did get the job of music pastor but it included being the youth pastor. We are impressed that James has followed God’s lead and is actually teaching the youth verse by verse through books of the Bible, and he started with the book of Genesis. Thank you James for equipping the youth that are in your care.
Mike gave his “4 Power Questions to Ask an Evolutionist” talk tonight. There is a man who drove here from San Diegoyesterday to hear. He saw Mike at a Steeling the Mind conference in 2000 and again in Philadelphia several years ago. We are always encouraged when someone makes such an effort to attend a conference. Last night we had a couple from Phoenix who drove down and a family from Tucson who drove up. Thank you to those who came from a different city to hear about our Creator. James Hatt from San Diego gets the prize for driving the most to see Mike.
