40 Years and Duluth, MN

Mike and I had a bit of time at home in June and July. It was a good time to plan for some future events and also gave us a chance to celebrate 40 years of marriage. It is so true that time flies when you are having fun. It is also true that time speeds up when you get older. We are so blessed that God brought us together so many years ago. We came from very different backgrounds and have very different gifts. The thing that we have in common that is the most important thing of all is our faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. Without Him, things would be very different. We are thankful for each other and for Him.

We are putting the final plans together for our first “5 Day Creation Teachers College” for next June in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. It will be different from any other event that we have seen in that it is for those who desire to teach Creation themselves. There will be lectures, workshops, student presentations, and great fellowship. We are limiting the enrollment to 60 students and will have three teachers. July 18th Mike and I flew to Duluth, MN for the second time this year. The first time was for the Basic
Creation class at St John’s Free Lutheran in Feb. Yes, it was cold. This time it was for the Advanced Creation Apologetics class at the same church. This time it was hot for the first couple of days. Our
co-teacher, Jay Lucas flew in from Columbus on Friday to help teach the class. Many thanks to Sarah and Al Kubat and Sue and Roger DeLoach for all the time and resources that were necessary for this to happen. We pray that those who were trained will find many opportunities to share with those who God puts in their paths
