We believe the Bible is divinely inspired and inerrant throughout. Its assertions are factually true in all the original autographs. It is the supreme authority in everything it teaches. Its authority is not limited to spiritual, religious, or redemptive themes but includes its assertions in such fields as history and science.
We believe that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
-1 Cor 15:3-4
We believe God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
We believe Jesus is the only way: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
We believe For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
We believe in the literal and historical account of creation and the worldwide Flood as given in the book of Genesis and that God created all things in six literal days about 6,000 years ago.
We believe in the laws of science as God has ordained them.
We believe, based on observational science, that mutations and natural selection are NOT mechanisms for Darwinian evolution. Most all known mutations cause a loss of information or function and have never been observed to create new information. The term natural selection implies a selector, which implies intelligence. Since the environment has no intelligence (the environment is inanimate), it cannot select anything. The selection process comes from the pre-programmed information that already exists within our DNA. The real question is, “where did all this incredible amount of information come from?”
The term Natural selection, as used by evolutionists, is really “An artificial mechanism devised by man to replace the power, wisdom, and intelligence of God”.
We believe that science is good since God is the Creator of all scientific principles.
We believe that evolution is based on historical science and not observational science and is therefore an interpretation of past events.
